MOORESVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA

100 North Church Street will be very much a part of the “urban trail” available to pedestrian consumers in Downtown Mooresville. Downtown is coming of age with fashionable old and new shops offering among other things, international wines, serious bicycles, interesting books, gourmet kitchen accessories, men's haberdashery, fine jewelry, tasty pastries, traditional hardware goods, exotic flowers, skin care & cosmetics, world class art galleries, great little restaurants and much, much more.

Mooresville is one of the pearls in a string of towns that make up the northern corridor leading out of Charlotte. Located just over the Iredell County line, it expects to someday be connected via a proposed light rail system. In as much as that rail system is designed to ferry folks from outer regions into Charlotte, with the advent of Lowe's headquarters and the dozens of vendors required to have a presence within a small radius of their campus, many may find a more desirable commute to be the reverse. In addition, small communities in outlying regions of Charlotte are becoming great destinations for inner city residents longing for a stroll along quaint, historic streets or looking for a delicious meal in an eclectic but cozy atmosphere, away from noisy crowds and big city traffic. If by you like to know your neighbors and enjoy saying "hey" to folks as you walk by their shops, then pedestrian-friendly Mooresville is the place to be. Downtown boasts a newly expanded public library as well as very versatile citizen’s center. Town Hall, Iredell County Government Center South, Post Office, Artist’s Guild, parks, recreation building and even the municipal golf course, are all within walking distance.
